Tibetan Pulsing?
Tibetan Pulsing Healing is a modern adaptation of ancient monastic practices. It utilizes the pulse of the heartbeat, which expresses itself in a subtle electrical pulse throughout the body. When this electrical current is damaged or disrupted through trauma, shock, or injury blockages are created along the skeletal structure. These blockages hold specific issues or ideas which can create patterns of behaviour, suffering and disease. By "pulsing" these points directly the blockages can be "melted" away, diffused, and the natural flow of electricity restored.
Tibetan Pulsing Streaming uses the pulsebeats of two or more individuals to create a current that balances out the energy within the stream.

From an interview with Dheeraj, the founder of Tibetan Pulsing Healing, now known as Tibetan Pulsing Yoga:
"...From our perspective
all forms of suffering, all forms of pain are generated at the very root
by bio-electrical input to the brain. This input creates a negative static
electrical charge in the brain that's designed to protect us from getting
hurt again. It builds up into a kind of armour; a collection of all the
negative experiences of the past. Every time we've been physically or psychologically
hurt a block is produced, and that corresponds to a static charge held
in the brain...
"...We use sound
and the pulsebeat to generate an initial current. If you have one hundred
people connected in the same way a magical thing happens: the pulsebeat
becomes unified, all one hundred people feel exactly that same pulsebeat,
it's running through everybody, and an electrical current starts streaming
through everybody - that's where the name streaming comes from.
"A stream of electrical
energy starts passing through every person in the chain, and they all begin
to share a common state of bliss. Inside that bliss state we start sharing
qualities. For example, if somebody has a tendency to be depressed, that
negative charge is held in a particular place in the throat. As the stream
passes through, the electrical charge enters and neutralizes the negative
charge. It washes over the negativity and carries the charge out.
"Another example:
a person who is too yang - too active to be receptive - can acquire the
quality of receptivity from the stream. If somebody is too yin they can
acquire activity from the stream. The stream redistributes the energy so
that a real balance can occur, and after a few sessions of this process
a change is very evident. The individual becomes aware of it.
"The correction
occurs in the psychological area of the mind that is associated with any
damage that has occurred. We remember how it was before, when that barrier
wasn't there. suddenly we remember the original feeling. When you look
at the faces of the people who are lying down inside the stream you see
that they start looking childlike...
"...Tibetan Pulsing
focuses on emotional blockage - healing damage that has occurred in the
body from emotional shock. Streaming focuses on healing damage to the brain
from the various kinds of electrical shocks that have occurred as a result
of trauma.
"...We think of
ourselves as conspirators of the heart, because that's the ultimate outcome
of this work - the heart comes to power inside your individual consciousness.
This is the original aim of this work. The Tibetan masters who devised
it five thousand years ago decided that it should only be used inside monasteries,
because the work is so powerful. They wanted to use it on people who were
ready to evolve to a higher level of consciousness, not on people who wanted
to develop some kind of extraordinary personal power. And we use it in
the same way for the evolution of consciousness, which is accelerated by
this shift from mind into the heart.
"The heart has
a certain innocence, the mind has a certain attachment. Through this attachment
process of the mind we experience only half the joy, half the love, half
the pleasure that we can have in our lives, because the mind has to operate
through polarities: right/wrong, good/bad, yes/no. If it finds a "good"
experience it wants to grab as much as it can get, but the next thing is
that it is forced towards something "bad". There is always this positive/negative
polarity occurring with the mind.
"With the heart
it's another matter. The heart is always in he moment and interested in
the experience of this moment. It doesn't know right from left, up from
down, inside from outside. It has no concern with any kind of separation.
It wants to merge with other hearts. When two people touch and feel the
pulsebeat the beat is the same for both. When a hundred people touch one
another, feeling with the pulsebeat, it's one pulse. When a thousand, when
a million - it's all the same, because we are all really just one heart.
From the heart's point of view there is only one of us."
DEEPAM?
Deepam attended the Osho Multiversity in Poona, India, an advanced school of the creative and healing arts. She is a Certified Rebalancer and a Qualified Tibetan Pulser. Deepam has been working with individuals, couples, and facilitating groups since 1988. Her practice includes an office in Orillia as well as at Jalbun Lodge.
Rebalancing is a hands-on system of bodywork utilizing
various techniques to help restore ease of movement and bring harmony to
the body. Through deep tissue massage, soft joint release, energy reading
and balancing, and breath work, one is made aware of holding patterns and
encouraged to release stored tension. Fluidity is restored, greater energy
is made available, and the full aliveness that is a birthright can be experienced.
